The Ask:
During the holidays, Microsoft and the Boys and Girls Club of Canada organized a holiday greeting card contest. The young participants are asked to submit a creative drawing that represents a holiday activity that one may do with their friends, family, or anyone across the world.
The Solution:
For the third year in a row, Digiflare transformed the winning card into an interactive and animated E-card. Digiflare implemented custom animations using Silverlight and created a standard version click-through presentation built in HTML. This year’s winning design was created by 9-year-old Maggie Yang, a member of Eastview (Toronto) Boys and Girls Club at the Eastview Neighbourhood Community Centre. Individuals can send out the animated e-card with a personalized message to their friends and family. Digiflare also developed a Silverlight version that is personalized for Eric Gales, President of Microsoft Canada.
The Result:
Digiflare made the winning greeting card come to life with custom holiday music by Silent Stone Music in time to share during the holiday season. Happy holidays!
