Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy, also known as FACIT, manages the distribution and information regarding administration, scoring and interpretation of a range of questionnaires that measure health-related quality for people with chronic illnesses.
In short, FACIT.org is the source for accessing the most state-of-the-art scientific resources for outcomes research. Under the direction of renowned Quality of Life (QOL) expert David Cella, Ph.D, the combined multidisciplinary teams of outcomes scientists at Northwestern University's Department of Medical Social Sciences and the multilingual translation team at FACIT.org have world class experience and expertise in research design, database development, multicenter data collection and management, psychometrics, statistics and linguistics.
By also introducing new information architecture into this website, the task of organizing the site made it remarkably easier to integrate it with data. All this served to provide the format that set a firm foundation for the website so all they needed to do is update continuously.
