CBC Federal Elections Map
“Digiflare comfortably stepped into the daunting task of creating a dynamic and interactive HTML5 map experience for the iPad to compliment CBC's Federal Election coverage. Originally, CBC was expecting 20,000 impressions during the federal elections, however our analytics displayed well over 350,000 impressions! It's hard to imagine anyone handling such a new idea as easily and skillfully as Digiflare but in this case, they delivered way beyond our expectation.”

The Ask:
CBC wanted to rebrand their online Elections Map for the iPad using HTML5 technology.
The Solution:
Digiflare developed and designed the CBC Elections Map for the iPad in HTML5. Features include real-time results, a drill-down map of all the ridings in Canada, as well as functionality in both English and French.
The Result:
The CBC Elections Map provides iPad users with dynamically up-to-date results of the polls during the 2011 Canadian federal election, both in their governed district as well as across the country.
