Our Work

Canadian National Institute for the Blind
CNIB is Canada’s leader in being the primary source of support, information and most significant: hope, for all Canadians affected by vision loss. Using SharePoint 2010, the website was made completely accessible for visually impaired users. Examples of accessible features that were implemented are text-size changers and contrast-changers that enabled the website to be more user-friendly.
The website is screen reader capable, making it compatible with popular screen reading software; furthermore, it was also designed for those who may not be able to use a mouse. Hence, the website makes allowances for navigation to be done through the keyboard or other assisting devices. Also, custom-content queries were created to fit custom data.
This project was showcased in a Microsoft Case Study that illustrates full accessibility and modern functionality. To read the case study click here.
